DOMESTIC MARKET
The benchmark Nifty bounced back on Monday after a sharp cut seen on Friday as well as previous week. But markets could not hold that recovery and immediately turned volatile. Nifty opened at 5430.15,it was brought to 5385.10 in the early trade. It was trading at 5405.35 with an upward gap of 9.60 points. Top gainers of today’s market are Hero Honda, Bharti Airtel, HDFC Bank and ITC ,while the top losers being Cipla, Hindalco, Tata Power and Tata Motors. Nifty has resistance at 5511.68 and 5627.61 and support at 5324.43 and 5253.11.
Sensex opened at 18135.02 and was trading at 18.59.60.HC,CD,AUTO and Metal are in the negative trend while the market is getting support from REALTY, FMCG, OIL&GAS, TECKetc. Sensex has resistance at 18391.24 and 18774.33 and support at 17776.02 and 17543.89.
INTERNATIONAL MARKET
Asian stocks climbed, extending the MSCI Asia Pacific Index’s biggest weekly gain this year, as earnings increased and the U.S. unemployment rate unexpectedly dropped, boosting confidence in a global economic recovery. Nikkei gained 57.54 points and was trading at 10601.10.Topix reached 941.01 with an increase of 5.65 points, while Hang Seng retreated 117.50 points and was trading at 23791.50.
FII INFLOW
The net FII flow to equity sector on Friday recorded a gain of 661.80 crore as against a loss of 46.10 crore the previous day. The open interest for the previous day in Futures segment was Rs. 40977.46 crore as against 38729.94 crore on Thursday. The open interest in Options segment was Rs. 49801crore as against Rs. 48720.93 crore the previous day. The aggregate open interest in derivative segment was Rs. 90778.46 crore. This was 87450.87 crore Thursday. It may be observed that the aggregate open interest rose 3.80 per cent.
